This formula uses the DATEDIF function to calculate the difference between today's date and the date "6/30/2023" in days.

  • Creating a Dynamic Header or Footer

You can use the TODAY function to create a dynamic header or footer that displays the current date. For example, if you want to add a header to your worksheet that shows the current date, you can use the following formula:

="Report Generated on " & TEXT(TODAY(), "mm/dd/yyyy")

This formula uses the TEXT function to format the date returned by the TODAY function as "mm/dd/yyyy".

This would return the date that is three months from today's date.

You can use the TODAY function in data validation to restrict the entry of dates to only those that are on or after the current date.
