How to Use the Excel Save As Shortcut

To use the Excel "Save As" shortcut, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Excel file you want to save as a new file.

  2. Press the "F12" key on your keyboard. This will bring up the "Save As" dialog box.

  3. In the "Save As" dialog box, choose the location where you want to save the new file.

  4. In the "File name" field, enter a name for the new file.

  5. Choose the file format you want to save the new file in from the "Save as type" dropdown menu.

  6. Click the "Save" button to save the new file.

Alternatively, you can use the "Ctrl+Shift+S" shortcut to bring up the "Save As" dialog box directly.
